The music was a bit loud but then I wasn't aware there would be a band there as I was with friends trying to talk. They were very good, but I was there for the chat not the music.

Would happily go back. One of us had a burger and really enjoyed, the battered fish in my fish and chips was OK but not great, the fish was a bit dry. Really good outlook, service was excellent.

food delicious but difficult to eat politely... real need for finger bowl and wipes for sharing finger food platters. blue cheese dip may not have actually seen any blue cheese...

the menu was different to that of the website...a bit annoying for vegetarians....and choice was limited.

About Walt & Burley

Waterside dining With one of the most expansive views of Lake Burley Griffin, a table here is hot property, especially as the sun sets. What better way to say goodbye to the day than with a margarita and slow cooked shredded bbq pork burger with jamaican slaw, aioli and a side of chippies. That is happiness is a glass and on a plate. Walt & Burley also offers a range of other dishes to suit all hunger levels. There’s small plates like pan fried spanish chorizo for those looking to graze and nibble, salt and pepper crusted squid and nachos if you’re feeling slightly more peckish, or salmon, fish and chips and hearty burgers if you’re downright famished. The Kingston Foreshore is alive and buzzing with great foodie destinations that are sure to impress. This being one of them. Best dish: Walt’s Best of Burley - chef’s choice of three meats, shoestring fries and jamaican
