The service from the moment we arrived until we left was excellent The food was very good Lots of different flavours that complimented each other . Several choices to chose from in each section of the meal and was plated beautifully . Definitely a place to revisit .

Outstanding evening to celebrate my wife's birthday. Well balanced, superbly cooked and presented seven course set menu. Highly professional, attentive but not over-intrusive service. All in all another evening to add to our 'memorable meals' list.

I just really enjoyed the variety of unusual combinations in the degustation menu The Kangaroo in particular was amazing. Nice atmosphere looking over the lake, flags and Black Mountain. The wine by the glass was surpirisingly good and i liked the selection of Canberran wines

Service is not at the same level as the quality of food.

Great venue and atmosphere, in a very scenic location. The quality of the food was outstanding (definitely the best in Canberra) but this restaurant is let down by the lack of situational awareness and poor training of the waiting staff. Courses were pre-ordered but other staff did not realise this and gave us menues (again) to re-order these course. When the ordered course finally arrived, one was incorrect. This resulted in the entire meal taking more than 2 hours when it should have only taken 60-70 minutes. If these staff issues can be corrected, this restaurant has the potential to be the best restaurant in Canberra.
