The food was phenomenal, great portion sizes and quick, friendly services. The menu was short but varied, so something delicious for everyone. Ambience was lovely, sat outside (cooled) with a view on the marina.

We absolutely love Bobbin Head and Waterside Bistro is a fabulous addition to the environment. The new ceiling covers make a huge difference! Felt so much cooler and the ambiance they provide is awesome too. Definitely recommend!

Excellent service, brilliant food and a fantastic setting!!! Best steak sandwich I’ve had for many many years. Loved the white clean table cloths. Will definitely go back.

Very nice place for a breakfast or lunch, waitresses where a bit all over the place but food was great, seating on the water in a marina. Be aware there is a $12 entry fee to the National Park.

We haven't been to this restaurant in some time and I was delighted to hear it had reopened. Booked for an early Sunday breakfast and had to wait 1 1/hours for juice, slightly less for coffee. Roasted in the morning sun as the lone waitress responsible for seating, serving, setting up and taking payments (for the restaurant and take away) had no time to raise plastic blinds. Very disappointing.

Booked a table for a birthday over a month ago and were given a stuffy inside corner table. We were told the people with outside tables had booked. Got that changed to an outside table. Then one meal was not logged in their system, they charged corkage on everyone even though some people bought wine from the restaurant. Had to ask for cutlery more than once so ended up getting it ourselves. Had to ask to have the table cleared. I ended up taking some plates away myself. Didn’t charge us for our coffee or dessert so we let them know this as we were leaving. That was a complete debacle, had to stand around waiting for ages. Apparently there’s only one iPad to take orders and charge with? Had to keep getting up and order from the counter rather than the table service we’ve had there twice in the last two months. We love it down there and have been going there for many years. Never had such a terrible experience as we did yesterday. Hope it was a once off.

The food, location and setting were amazing! The staff were friendly! But... 3 of the meals in our group of 10 were delayed by an hour and had to be chased up by us... twice!

There is no mention on the Waterside Bistro's website of the $12 national park entry charge to access this venue. I find that deceptive and rather disappointing.

Extremely slow service and disorganised. They need more staff especially when you’re paying an extra 10% surcharge for a Sunday. I couldn’t see any happy customers in the restaurant because of the lack of attention and slow service. Coffees came out after we’d finished our breakfast which must have been sitting in the kitchen servers for a while and it was just like warm. I probably won’t go back. A mug of cappuccino was $5.72 :-(

Friendly staff. Great setting. Lovely food at an affordable price. Unfortunately weren't shown the specials menu and didn't notice it until leaving. Would have made at least one selection from that.

Table was reserved as requested, friendly staff, all of the food we ordered came on the table at the same time earlier than expected. Nice and peaceful area. National park entrance fee ($12). I will definitely go back again.

The location in the National Park at Bobbin Head is part of what makes this experience. Crisp white tablecloths providing an inviting atmosphere of waterside dining. Ease of ordering at your table and paying individually at the same time allowed you to just enjoy your companions' conversation immediately. All meals for a table of six arrived simultaneously. Garlic Prawn Spaghetti was a light and tasty dish with sparkling mineral water in a requested wine glass. Finishing with coffee completed a wonderful ladies' luncheon.

Have visited this restaurant twice now on a weekend and just love it. The setting at the marina is pretty and peaceful with the huge boats and National Park surrounding the restaurant. The breakfast is excellent, I would say the best I have had. The welcome was non existent with staff busy doing their various jobs but the service was good and the food and drinks came out in good time. Highly recommend.

Worst treatment from staff in that i was asked three times if i would like to pay, wanted to serve my after lunch coffee with my meal ? our booking was from 1.30 to 3.00 at 2.40 staff started making noises indicating to us that we should move on , not very customer friendly, made to feel as i might do a runner.

Had never heard of this place so thought we would give it a go. Could have chosen 2 or 3 different things on the menu. Weren’t disappointed. Servers were great under busy conditions. Book ahead to avoid disappointment.
