7.3/10Food is good but flavours are not that spectacular. Not expecting a Nobu standard but we had much better valued teppanyaki elsewhere w similar standard.

9.5/10This is truely a good restaurant for teppanyaki. The food was amazingly delicious: wagyu beef and seafood very tender and fresh, the vegetables were well flavoured. The dessert was of French crepe style, very delightful! The restaurant was quite and good for conversation. One side of the restaurant can overlook the Darling Harbour. The only downside was that the seats are placed quite close to each other; thus, the seating spaces were a bit tight.

8.8/10The chefs were fantastic! It’s a pity one of the wait staff was a bit snooty. None the less the food was fantastic and ultimately that’s what I was there for.

8/10Service was a little getting our food cooked. I think this was partly because only one in our party ordered a set menu and 3 of us ordered al acart. One of our party ordered the wygu beef (220g) which was two steaks and could easily have been shared. Best Teppanyaki we have ever had. My grandson wants to go back tonight!

8/10I was very impressed with seeing the food be prepared in front of me. It was as entertaining as I have seen before, but lots of fire. The food was very good as well. The seats are very close to each other. You are already seated right next to strangers, but you can pretty much rub elbows, the seats are so close.

A flamin' night out!
Get ready for a Teppanyaki eating experience unlike any other. Wharf Teppanyaki brings drama and theatrics to the table as chefs whip up freshly grilled food on one of the twelve cooking stations, right in front of your very eyes. It's a show of fire and skill at this open plan eatery. Located on King Street Wharf, with stunning water views and a sumptuously decorated interior, this really is a truly unique teppanyaki dining destination. As you enter the room, your eyes will be drawn upwards to the stainless steel ventilation hood that spans the entire room - but don't question its presence, you'll be thankful post meal when you don't leave the wharf all smoky and smelling of food. For a night out with friends, date night, or just something different, Wharf Teppanyaki ticks all the boxes.
Best dish: No. 1 Special - a crab salad, avocado and Hiramasa kingfish roll smothered in 'secret sauce' .
