Tired food, Parma pre cooked no doubt wasn’t fresh
Unfortunately the food was not what we'd hoped. Quality of dishes were not satisfactory given the pricing and service was not very good given the advanced notice of a large group reservation (15).
Easy with kids. Great food and excellent service.
The food was a let down. I had been before a year ago and the food was much better. Entree calamari was very small and not tender. My main gnocchi meal was dry and the flavours were not great. I left feeling bloated and unhappy about paying $200 for my family of 4, 2 shared entrees and main meals and two drinks. $18 for an aperol spritz was more than Ive paid even at the best restaurant. Really disappointed overall.
OK for an informal, relaxed meal but the decor is a bit basic.
Hi we were very happy with our meals and service. we have a child who has Cealiac Disease and therefore needs a totally gluten free diet, it makes it difficult for our family to dine out unless we can be assured the chef can prepare a gluten free meal for a child. We appreciated your waiting staff and chef`s efforts to assist us with a gluten free meal for our child and therefore will dine at your restaurant in the future. Many thanks, Deb Dohnt
Atmosphere and ambience was really disappointing. It felt too open, cold (both literally and the atmosphere). I think partitions, booths and just more warmth to the area would make it a lot more appealing. I know it’s a ‘bistro’ but it definitely felt like a local pub that hasn’t been renovated in 20 years. Dined there because we were staying at the resort and had a great experience at the RACV Inverloch restaurant and this definitely disappointed. Food was good but ambience let it down dramatically.
Will be back,, apparently a lovely view., too dark Staff service was amazing. Great for families, with activites.
I will never understand the rudeness and selfishness of people who use a restaurant as a child minding facility. We were seated near a large party of guests who brought 8-9 children under the age of 10, who all proceeded to run, scream and crawl around yelping pretending to be puppies around other diners. Having to wait over 30 mins for our main meal plates to be cleared and offered dessert, with yelping “puppies” around us was not an atmosphere we desired. Food was great and setting is always nice however we felt our table wasn’t attended to so well on the night and we felt for couples who may have paid for a babysitter to have a few hours of peace, being subject to that.
Very disappointed, the “restaurant” we booked for a romantic lunch was only serving cabinet food. The alternative was overpriced poor food.
very large restaurant with friendly staff
Sunday 9th June 2019 Lovely place but sadly other patrons needs to control their children. Staff were great and helpful but I feel they should address patents with unruly children. Rating is hard because of other children which I guess is out of RACV area. But overall great , relaxed place and I would go back
Food was amazing!
Great service by the team at the RACV Club
Very relaxed atmosphere. Felt comfortable and cosy.
Please consider adding gluten free in entree and dessert.
The menu was suitable for families, but the food was fairly ordinary - my son commented that the fish didn’t taste of anything. We could have purchased the same for far less money elsewhere. Four of us had chips and all were over-salted, so we didn’t eat them. Desserts were delicious and service was excellent!
