Excellent food, service a bit slow and not as welcoming as other places on Manly. Views were spectacular and the drinks were good and plenty. I would recommend this place for views and food, but not for service
Service was disappointing and food was mediocre. A great pity considering the location and view. There was little attention paid to service and not much coherence between staff.
Extremely disappointing. I can only assume that on weekdays the restaurant is run from next door Bluewater. I ate here on Xmas day- immaculate service, professional service, excellent food. I’ve been here on weekends for dinner, always superb. On this basis I took business colleagues on a Wednesday and came away thoroughly embarrassed. Two staff, no tap beer, a limited menu and what was allegedly Barramundi came with a wire basket of cold chips. No offer of wine or dessert. Really, really disappointing
Service was slow and without consideration, Oysters had not been chilled and although the quality was good served at room temperature, white wine was placed on the table without an ice bucket and one meal had obviously been cooked first and put to one side so was not hot when served to table! The table had not been cleaned properly and catching the attention of assistance was difficult.
The Chateaubriand main was good and the Desert Platter was great. Service was somewhat unattentive though. A musician played until 8:30pm which was good. We had a good night overall.
One of the few restaurants in Manly to open on Monday evening. Pleasant staff. Views across road to beach. Only complaint - we were given both the lunch and dinner menu in one which made it very obviously that exactly the same food was priced at least 25% different.
Food was expensive and quite average. Restaurant had a nice vibe and the wait service was good.
It was very busy and the staff forgot to give us water and required cutlery for our entree. They also hadn't cleared entree plates before our mains arrived. Food was good so not really too big of a deal. We will be back.
My sister and I both had a Poke Bowl. It was inedible. It looked liked someone threw up black rice on the plate. I literally couldn’t find the salmon. The two avocado slices were too hard to bite. Take it off the menu.
Generous portions, our steaks and beef ribs were cooked perfectly. Wine was great also. Thank you for a lovely night!
Good food and price
Service was terrible and tables were sticky and it looked like it was going down hill
Really nice place to go for a brunch. A bit pricey but the location and service were great.
Restaurant looks nice but not busy. We were not impressed by the food, maybe that’s why it’s so quiet in there.
Food very average for price paid, main meal NO asparagus as stated on menu & not much seafood on risotto dish , poor. Oysters average too much BBQ ?? sauce for kilpatrick, won’t go back.
Seafood could be a little fresher
It was Fathers' day so busy. However we were not offered desert, and the pasta was well overcooked. Service should have been better, as it has been quite good on several prior visits.
Great restaurant with a lovely ambience. The live guitarist was great and he had an amazing voice. The happy hour drinks are a great benefit, and the meals and service were flawless. Will definitely be back!
Fantastic food, service & great value for money!
Amazing seafood platter, definitely will be back at the beach side restaurant.
