The food was really lovely and the service was great. There was also a very large group at the same time but the staff didn't make us feel rushed or unwelcome. Will definitely recommend!

Great menu with alot of vegetarian options. Service was on point. The greeting, attention to details in service and food presentation are superior to other fine dining options in Orange. The food presentation was exceptional and prices are reasonable for the quality. The Miso butter on the sourdough was delicious, Duck breast and lamb were delicious. Chips were a bit undercooked but it wasn't a big deal compared to the quality of the mains and entrees. We will be back again for sure.

Great food & service. The meals were very nicely presented. Our entrees were very unique - and delicate in taste. Both the lamb rump & eye fillet steak were cooked perfectly.

What a gem to discover.......Our first visit to Whitney's Restaurant was nothing short of wonderful. Lovely ambience and excellent dining coupled with the very best of service. A new experience with the head chef visiting tables to talk to his patrons, offering insight to the presentations for each diner's course and seeking feedback. The service at our table from the staff was impeccable and followed suit with other diner's commenting very favourably as well. A great evening which will definitely see us return in the very near future.

Unfortunately we felt Whitney’s Restaurant was not good value for money. The food was very tasty and beautifully presented but the portion sizes were too small...we were still hungry

food was basic but good, a very tasty steak, service was very polite but needs professional training badly, wine list is fair considering where you are. A more extensive lunch menu would be nice considering the limited lunch options in orange other than pub grub. We will go back but probably for diner for more menu options

The draught beer was not available and my husband was disappointed but the manager gave him a glass of wine on the house. This was not necessary but a nice touch. Our waitress was efficient and friendly and provided excellent service.

Luscious meal - duck breast , great local wines by the glass , live piano music , comfy chairs , can hear each other across the table, friendly staff who even remembered what I had eaten last time - what’s not to love? I’ll be back.
