10/10This is my favourite brunch spot in Brisbane. Great food selections including ever changing waffle specials. Excellent coffee also. And fantastic green surrounds enhanced by being attached to a plant nursery.

9.5/10The meals were superb and the service excellent. It was a shame the staff needed to set up for a later function. This was rather off putting for party (special birthday), given we only sat down at 1.30pm and the setting up started not long after 2pm. Is it possible to extend the lunchtime trading hours to 3pm?

9.3/10My mother-in-law and I enjoyed a lovely stroll round the garden centre followed by lunch at Wild Canary. We both ordered the fish of the day, which was a tasty crispy-skinned barramundi with beautiful crushed potatoes, fennel and a pesto sauce. We both commented it was one of the best restaurant meals we've had in a long time. The service was perfect - polite, timely and helpful but not obtrusive.

Wild Canary is nestled within the gardens of Brookfield Garden Centre in the leafy Western suburbs of Brisbane. The perfect home for a botanically minded bistro. Executive Chef Glen Barratt works with the rhythm of nature, this is expressed in the vibrant fresh
dishes that are produced every day.
The story of our produce always begins with the farmer and their soil. Glen often goes beyond the confines of the bistro, driving down back roads in search of exceptional produce from nurtured soil. The network of friendships within the community is integral to our philosophy. We pride ourselves on building a unified and holistic team. We love nothing more than when our farmers proudly drop off their beautiful produce at the back door with a smile and a chat.
An expression of our passion is reflected through the produce we source and the regular events we hold, such as the popular Producer Dinners or our specialist artisan lunches. Wild Canary also host regular exhibitions supporting local artists. Serving breakfast and lunch seven days, Wild Canary is also available for exclusive use for events such as weddings or private parties. Wild Canary is famous for delicious whole specialty cakes that can be ordered as takeaway or dine in.
