We shared a tasty meal with our family. The menu is varied and offers a good cross section of hot to very hot Thai dishes. The service was polite and efficient.
We booked our table with the fork but our reservation was not on the book when we arrived. We had received a email on the day from the fork to confirm and a message from wild ginger to confirm as well. We confirmed both. Luckily we were 15 min early and a table was found for us. Not sure I would book my table with the fork again as there was no reservation
The food was not that great for the price.
We went on Tuesday, the place was not crowded. The food was really good and reasonably priced with a good amount of serving. The lamb curry was the best. The service was prompt and the wait staff was nice.
The standard of the food was poor.
We didn’t get any discount from dimmi
Nice atmosphere & delicious food. Was a bit quiet, so it was missing the vibe from a busier restaurant, but was enjoyable overall.
I think they may have been short-staffed on the night we went, they were really under pressure to look after tables. Lovely people, just poor organisation. We thought the food was good, good flavours and would be willing to try again.
Wonderful place in the middle of the City.
Delicious lamb dish on chefs special and staff were very nice
Delightful little Thai restaurant - loved the fish cakes and spring rolls for entree. The Pad Thai and chilli barramundi for shared mains with boiled rice were all delightful. Often hard to get flavoursome vegetarian meals but this was great. Friendly and prompt service too!
The restaurant is a bit hidden in The Rocks, but serves good food. The food came quite quickly after ordering and is decent value for money. When we ate there it was a bit chilly outside and that could be felt on the inside as well, which was quite unfortunate and negatively affected the atmosphere.
Great food and atmosphere. The wild ginger sauce is ???? And the tom yum is delicious
Food was good and the restaurant catered for special dietary requirements. Service was lacking as there were only 1 or 2 wait staff that could take orders and they were often no where to be seen.
We enjoyed our dinner for 2 on the balcony and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for excellent Thai food located close to the rocks!
Really yummy Thai food and service is wonderful.
Place was quiet but they only gave us 1hr 15min to dine. (we were told when we sat down) They said Fri night gets busy, but when we left before 7:30pm, the place was only half full. Small dish, not value for money.
Great food well priced
Choo chee whole trout was delicious. Soft shell crab main was a bit small but yummy. They forgot our roti.

Beauty in simplicity
After a day of exploring the city, take a seat at Wild Ginger in The Rocks and indulge in an exotic Thai feast. Set amongst the sandstone architecture of historical Sydney, this is the ideal spot to relax with a beer in hand.
Inspired by the Thai philosophy of ‘beauty in simplicity’, the menu features your favourite chicken green curry, as well as exciting dishes such as crispy blue eyed cod with sweet and sour sauce. Yum!
Best dish: Deep fried pork belly with Chinese broccoli.
