8.5/10Service was a bit slow to start, but was good by the end of it. Food was good, have had better there, but definitely nothing to complain about. Lovely staff.

10/10The entrance to Mandoon Estate is via Reid Hwy.Google Maps led us incorrectly to Sandalford Winery.Otherwise, we couldn't fault the food. We loved everything except wished there was a bit more marron in the entree. we will come again definitely!

7.5/10High class restaurant with very attentive service. Food was presented artistically although too salty which was shame. Staff were immaculate and very well trained

10/10The food was truly fine dining and the price as such was very reasonable ($45 pp 2 course). It was a great setting on this reasonably cool January day so we could eat in the al fresco area

8/10Enjoyed a pre lunch tasting of Mandoon's wines. Particularly liked the old vine grenache. Opted for the set menu which provided limited options. Chose an entre of swan valley asparagus and main course of wagin duck. Both dishes were nicely presented and cooked to perfection. The restaurant and tasting rooms were very busy but the staff were efficient and professional. All round a very enjoyable lunch.

9.5/10The food was superb, the staff were friendly and helpful. We did have a longer wait than we are used to so I would choose to go at another time in future--Friday was recommended. Well worth a return visit.

10/10Four of our family were celebrating a belated birthday and the waitress and chef looked after us exceptionally well even adding a delicious complimentary dessert tartlet for each of us at the end of our lunch. Beautiful food and wonderful service in a very pleasant dining area overlooking the gardens and distant vineyards. We will be returning soon!

Time for Fine Dining Located in Caversham in the glorious wine country of the Swan Valley, outside Perth, Mandoon Estate is open from 10 AM to 5 PM which makes it an ideal spot for a long liquid lunch (so long as you're not driving home). This is a restaurant that offers some of the finest à la carte dining in the Swan Valley. The decor of whites and creams is elegant and relaxing, with service to match. Their executive Chef Michael Hartnell has an impressive international CV that includes Daphne's in London and Le Caprice in the Pierre Hotel on 5th Avenue, New York. He has designed a beautifully constructed degustation menu in which each dish is matched with one of Mandoon Estate's carefully selected wines. However discerning (or not) your palate might be, this is high-class nosh. For a surprising seafood sensation, try the chargrilled cuttlefish, with quinoa, samphire, khol rabi, and citrus tapioca. Best Dish: Slow Roasted Lamb Shoulder
