Meet the Chef

Born and raised in Adelaide, Justin first learnt his culinary skills under the direction of Ann Oliver at Mistress Augustine's in North Adelaide. He then travelled, working in London at Bibendum Restaurant, in the NSW ski fields and later the Noosa Springs Golf Resort. Joining Windy Point Restaurant and Cafe in 2008, Justin utilises regional, seasonal produce to bring our guests the very best contemporary Australian cooking.

Leah was our waitress, service couldn't be flawed. Wait staff are attentive without being imposing, plus the food was cooked perfectly. Presentation of food was 10/10, atmosphere was great as well as the view. There was a party of about 6 people right behind us but we barely heard them, will definitely visit again!

The Windy Point restaurant has long been well known for it’s high end fine dining. My wife and I celebrated our first anniversary there and were not disappointed! From the time we walked in we were respectfully greeted, seated and waited upon. All our chosen dishes were full of overwhelmingly rich and tasteful flavours, A sunset reservation will treat you to a perfectly set evening watching the Adelaide city lights gradually light up whilst enjoying your dinner. Highly recommended!

Service from when we first arrived, then shown to our table was very professional. The views were amazing. Quick service. Meals were unbelievably beautiful to perfection. Definitely worth the trip.

Beautiful view over Adelaide City. We tried the spring tasting menu (6 courses) and was a nice experience. However, there were some overcooked/dry meat elements and the dessert had too much gélatines. The service was respectful and good.

The restaurant need the carpets renewed, I was disappointed in our table position . We found it a bit difficult to understand our waiters and had to ask her to repeat.

Magnificent views accompanied by delicious food and drinks ! Highly recommend !! We even had a rainbow right outside the window = spectacular ! This was a wedding gift for us from friends that we used on our honeymoon - amazing !!

What a brilliant find. Staff were friendly, welcoming and anxiously happy in their employment. The staff, decor, food and drinks all excellent. Waiters and waitresses knew their food and drinks and were able to offer great advice on our choices. The whole evening was exceptionally high quality. Thank you Windy Point Restaurant team .

The food was tasty and good but all the meals were meant to be hot and were warm at best, apart from the dessert. The service was good and the view was good. But the interior - carpet, seating was a little outdated. In a fancy restaurant it would be nice if the candles are at least real. Overall had a good meal and time, but wouldn't be going back anytime soon.
