Excellent
Delicious gourmet food, cooked to perfection, served in beautiful surroundings by the lake at sunset. Attentive staff in the restaurant , but it did take an unreasonably long time to seat us on arrival & to take our order. We will return for the wonderful food.
Plain food cooked to perfection. My wife needed GF and the chef specially cooked some a GF bun and amended the recipes to cater to her needs. Awesome effort earns extra points for that. Everything is expensive but at least it was good value I had the Tod Dexter Chardonnay and the half bottle shiraz from Paringa Both outstanding. The chocolate soufflé was aparently cold so we avoided that. The Bom Alaska appeared to be torched rather than cooked in the oven but it was still wonderful
From our arrival the staff were very welcoming, the food was amazing the service was remarkable. We stayed in the king size room with spa which was unbelievable they went above and beyond To make our stay memorable. Definitely 10/10 .????
Great staff, beautiful ambience, excellent food - both in flavor and preparation. And go for a walk around the lake... ????it’s magnificent! Definitely will come back
You have a choice between 2 or 3 courses. We selected Main and Dessert and added an extra cheese course. All food was good. It is in a nice old house - good atmosphere. I think it is worth visiting.
I took a friend here for her birthday and I wanted the night to be special, and it was. The setting, the service, the food were all outstanding. We had the 7 course degustation menu, exquisite flavours, with a range of different, mostly local wines and at the end 4 hours had gone in a flash. For both of us it was a memorable evening. Thanks to Rick and his great staff.
Excellent service. Ashleigh rang up day before to check our dietary requirements which was a plus because my partner is on a gf diet. Quick service also on the day. We had the 12 hour cooked lamb between 2 in the brassiere which was humongous but also tender, moist and delicious. Lovely setting next to the lake and ambiance in stately house. There are many good restaurants on Mornington peninsula and this one should be on your list if you are looking for a good restaurant. They also have a larger degustation menu for the more hungry and afternoon high tea is served after 3 pm.
Staff were welcoming and extremely helpful. Food was lovely, we had enough time between courses and setting was beautiful and relaxing. We would definitely come back.
Delicious food. Lovely setting. It’s our third time. We will be back.
N/A . But I’ll recommend visitors from overseas.
The food was a bit pricey for what was presented we thought.
Great view and service Terrine was not good, deserts are not on the par with food level Scallops sensational
Good food, excellent service, limited menu and heavy furniture, mock period residence
If the road from the car park leading to out side the big street can be pathed with concretes or anything that can reduce the dusts running after another car .
Absolutely loved it. Food and service were exceptional
