We love the food @ Woodstock. The best Roman pizza in Melbs. And thanks Gaia for taking care of us so well! What a great experience. Also the neighbourhood it’s nice and tidy.
I booked for a lunch date, greeted by lovely Leslie who looked after us, gentle and courteous nature. I have not dined at Woodstock for sometime , so it was pleasing to see the menu has changed. Warm atmosphere .. loved the italian discourse of the pizza makers in the background - felt like i was in Italy ! My colleagues and i had a wonderful luncheon, will dine again in the near future with my family ! Thank you once again to Leslie for your excellent service, keep up the great work !
Great service, yummy food, reasonably priced
Good food and great service.
Was good once we got our meal as they forgot our order
The food and service were excellent. Everyone had a great lunch. The Nutella donuts for dessert were delicious!
Great food, great service, a little bit noisy but worth it.
AMAZING Italian food, and very authentic
The service wasn’t as good as last time I went there. We had to wait a long time for our order, because they got our order wrong, and had to remake it, but didn’t have the decency to tell us.
Nice place for a family dinner
????, pizza delicious
The best will continue to go back
Always good service will continue to go back
Staff great Good delicious Anti pasta fantastic
went for my daughters birthday she loved it
Excellent and friendly service. Quality, tasty food. Highly recommended.
Delicious and authentic.
The food was very good. The sauce for the pasta was rich, thick and very tasty. Loved it.
Took half an hour for someone just to take our drink order. Food came out pretty quickly after that. Food was average. Pasta nice but pizzas are a bit hard.
Food was very nice, it was a busy night so service was a little slow. I would highly recommend the pizza as it was the standout.
72 Napier Street, 3040, Essendon, Australia
Woodstock Essendon is the third in a series of eateries concocted by Tony Cannata, whose family has been running restaurants for 20 years. It is impossible to summarise the contents of their menu because Nonna - who is in her late 70s - trots down to the market to pick up the latest and freshest items to cook for you, her guest, tonight. Blackboard menus designed on the day are ever-changing and you never quite know what is going to be on the menu. This family was the first in Melbourne to have and run a wood oven, built for pizzas in the early 1990s. Now using only the finest tomatoes and pizza flour, they specialise in creating a dining experience of the highest and most authentic Sicilian calibre, that will have you feeling like you have been royally spoilt when you come here. An absolute must to visit, come and allow yourself to be swept away in this place of nostalgia and comfort food.
