Fabulous food, engaging and super friendly staff. I felt very welcomed. I’ll be back. Heaps of parking. Plenty of choice on the menu. Indoor or outdoor dining

Good environment and service. The food is tasty and the presentation is good. I ordered duck breast for my main dish. The only problem is that duck skin was quick hard to chew, but the duck meat was very good.

The staff were really helpful and the food was delicious. Not everything was open and maybe the complex could be better developed but the cafe fare is value for money.

Travelled all the way up there. An hour drive each way to find that it isn’t open on Mondays Tuesdays or Wednesday’s. I had even checked the Wyong Milk Factory website for trading hours and it said 11-2:30 every day. To say I am angry and very embarrassed (as Zi had taken 3 friends who had never been before) is an understatement.

We usually love going here for brunch as the food is consistently good. Yesterday, three of our party ordered Mexican corn fritters, which we have all had many times before. They were awful. The bacon was undercooked. The fritters were small and chewy and the salsa was tomato ketchup with onion chopped into it. There were only a few specks of sour cream. The salad was tossed carelessly onto the plate. We all felt that a different chef had prepared the food. The service was lovely, as always. But, the food was very disappointing.

I bought the saffron risotto. The flavour was average and the risotto rice was partially uncooked. I also bought an iced caramel latte. Terrible! I didn’t think it was possible to make a bad iced latte, but it tasted like an overpowering caramel milkshake with dish soap. The atmosphere was good. The park needed a clean. Service was quick. I did hear the table next to us was having issues with there food not coming out to them.

It was a miserable wet day outside but we were warm and comfortable inside. Enjoyed our lunch and the service was great. Nothing was a bother to the staff and helped us with placing the wheelchair at the table,

Not my first visit and won't be my last. Staff are always friendly and efficient. We've had breakfast and lunch at different times with groups of family and friends and thoroughly enjoyed by all.

Nice food & great little playground. If with kids, try get a table outside or sit in the playground. Sat inside with 3 kids & it was abit hectic - outside tables more spacious!

Booked for four in the back area,( didn’t know their were seperate areas),and didn’t take notice of the word cafe on booking. Staff directed us to cafe and we sat in the sun in good area and moved to outside area after our meal as it got quite warm. Didn’t know your closing time so accepted coffees in take-away cups. Only complaint I have is that four meals were ordered, three meals were served together but the fourth was a good ten to fifteen minutes late. All meals should have been served together.

Great place to go for or lunch with the kids, food and service were excellent, playground for kids, and a lovely man that worked there saw us with 3 kids and put a jumping castle up just for them to play on! Also dropped in to the chocolatier and cheese factory which were both great.

How to get to the restaurant

144 Alison Road, 2259, Wyong, Australia

About the restaurant

Wyong and the Milk Factory Cafe

Take a five minute detour off the freeway at Wyong and visit the old Wyong Milk Factory, which is now home to a cafe that's got everyone talking! The complex has a lovingly repaired, saved and salvaged feel, enjoying its new lease of life. The cafe is split over three levels (this includes the rooftop) with alfresco dining, this little treasure is considered to be one of the best venues in Bowral.

With a very straight forward, cafe-style menu that's aimed to families, there is something for everyone. You can't go wrong ordering one of the the much loved Aussie favourites like fish and chips, a burger, quiche or salad.

If this kids are feeling a little restless from the car trip, they can run around in the playground that features two cubby houses whilst you visit Lukka Chocolate Factory. There is even a gym if you find you've eaten too much chocolate, if there is even such thing!

Best dish: Fish and chips

Dear guests, please note that any group bookings over 20 covers will need to leave their credit card details as a guarantee. We look forward to welcoming you soon.
