The service was just amazing. The staff are so professional and well trained. The seafood was amazing. I found the meat was overly seasoned though. I would definitely recommend.
Love the selection of whisky and sake
Outstanding and thoroughly enjoyable evening. Food and service 2nd to none!
Amounts served too small. The lamb was too fatty and the meat was too tough to eat .
Service a bit disappointing and food is slow to come out. The food is great.
It was hit and miss. The sushi and sashimi was brilliant. Set menu left a bit to be desired the quantity of tempura Brussels sprouts was bizzar, no tempura sauce and very monotone dish. Stick with the classics team and twist them a little. My yakitori came cold which was a pity as it was tasty. I should have sent it back, but at that point the service experience was deteriorating. To be honest, the service was second rate. There were a lot of glamourous staff who were unattentive and just went missing. It started at the greeting with the receptionist not providing a warm welcome and who seemed confused as to her role, all in all she provided a useless role that put you on the back foot from the start. Several times through service we had to clean up our dishes and the foodservice timing was erratic. This again was confusing as the venue appeared a third full. All in all a very hit and miss experience that would have been a borderline hit if the front of house had its act together.
Food is incredible, atmosphere fantastic and service excellent. Our ultimate favourite place to eat.
This place is amazing The sushimi is always of the hugest quality and unbelievably fresh We literally never get anything cooked it’s that good. Staff are amazing and atmosphere wonderful By far our favourite restaurant on the GC and absolutely the “to go” place for fresh amazing seafood
This was the best Japanese food I’ve ever eaten. The presentation and quality was superb. The waiter walked us through the menu and answered all our questions. We felt like we were his only customers. Absolutely sensational. Great price for the exceptional quality. We have been talking about it to a lot of friends and family.
Delicious food with the Omakase meal. Had a lovely meal.
Poor food, average service. Poor atmosphere - loud music not 'in theme'. It was my daughters Birthday and we asked for the restaurant to contact us via the online booking to arrange a treat - this didn't happen. We left after 50 minutes after spending $30 on bottled water and $135 on some nibbles and continued our evening elsewhere. We had to pay at the bar as there wasn't a waitress in sight. Sigh.
Beautiful food n friendly wait staff.I found the temperature of the room a cold- had to keep my jacket on
My third visit to this Little known gem. Service and food is exceptional.
great food and service
Very good !
Wonderful food and service would certainly recommend
