Fabulous
We loved our evening at Yellow - the food was really clever and just extremely tasty! Blown away by the talent in the kitchen. Couldn’t recommend the food enough and the staff were really lovely, attentive and helpful in the face of what is a really uncertain situation. Sending the whole team at Yellow and their sister restaurants our best wishes for the coming months - we look forward to dining with you guys on the other end of this. Stay strong, stay healthy. We wish you all the best.
Food was amazing. We had the sweet potato tortillas to start with, then the macadamia tofu, eggplant, cabbage and pumpkin. Would strongly recommend the tortillas, they are tiny but delicious, and the pumpkin, it had the most delicious flavours and was so rich and creamy. I would also order the eggplant and the cabbage again, which were very tasty, but might skip the tofu. That was just enough food for the 2 of us, I wouldn't order any less as portions are small. Staff were quite slow but very nice, they did start serving us sparkling water then charged us for it even though we didnt order or want it... That's my only complaint though.
The food & the wine was superb. Great location. The toilet is very dark, no chance of checking your make-up. So if you’ve smudged an eye or have food in your teeth, your date is just going to have to deal with it.....cringe. I felt the staff let the place down, they were rushed. My napkin was thrown into my lap rather than draped. The menus were plonked down with a slap of the table. Each course of the 5 course menu was explained very quickly without asking if we understood or had any questions. They reeled it off and ran off. It was good value with the 30% off as the food was excellent. And a member of staff took a photo of us, which was kind. And shows that they may have indeed had more time to offer a better service.
Yellow was a great experience. We were greeted with smiling, friendly staff who attended to our refreshments and then delivered our superb 7 course meal. The flavour sensations were amazing..subtle hints of interesting flavours and creative presentation. Fantastic!
Amazing experience, been meaning to come for years. Myself and 3 friends had the 5 -Course Tasting Menu with matching wines. Food was delicious, and wait staff were attentive and knowledgeable. Will definitely be back.
Amazing. Will be back!
Had to attract attention to get water refills, otherwise excellent. Food was very good and the non-alcoholic matches where interesting and well paired
The lady who seems to be the manager was a bit high pressure person. Just after she recommended us to order 4 dishes between 2, we ordered 2 entrees to start, then she looked not happy and said it's too small. We obviously understood that 2 isn't enough because she just mentioned, They were just starters. After I told her that I'll order more later, she looks Ok. Her behavior to other customers was quite strong as well.
Yellow is a vegetarian restaurant and the food is wonderful, beautifully presented using the freshest ingredients.
Amazing food and great service. Best vegetarian restaurant that we’ve ever been to. Also love the interior design of the restaurant. We will definitely come back to try more dishes.
Amazing food and great service. It’s the beat vegetarian restaurant we’ve ever been to. We’ll definitely come back to try more dishes.
Food was amazing! Service was a bit slow!
I loved this place. The food was amazing. There was an alcohol free matched drink list that was wonderful. The only thing i did not like was being asked to put in a tip. I felt really uncomfortable being asked this as my bil was presented with an already populated credit card surcharge. It was a bit pushy.
Incredible service from knowledgeable and personable staff. Incredible menu and a very cozy location
Great service by attendants.
Been to yellow afew times before they went all vego and I am so glad they did everything was amazing it was so much more then I expected. The yuzu paste with the artichoke is something truly special
Amazing food and selection. Staff are very friendly, attentive and has great knowledge about plant-based food. The place is perfect for intimate dinner, pre-theatre and special occasion.

Informal. Affordable. Vegetarian. And it was all Yellow. A yellow house, in fact, once housing the works of Brett Whiteley and his contemporaries, this place exudes a bohemian vibe. A few years ago, this Potts Point eatery made the decision to become all about the vegetables. But don’t be thinking ‘boring’. Here, thoughtfully selected produce is given a chance to shine. Celeriac, nettle, hazelnut milk and black garlic, anyone? Try the tasting menu – it comes in vegetarian or vegan – or take in a weekend brunch. At Yellow Sydney, there’ll be no nagging you to eat your veggies! Check out the eclectic wine list while you’re there.
