We loved the five course vegetarian degustation at Yellow - my favourite dish was the romanesco. The service was friendly, professional and attentive, and the wines were excellent.

This was our second visit and the second time having the 7-course degustation menu with wines. The food and service was yet again outstanding. The wines and the explanation that came with each was interesting and appropriate (not too much detail but enough to create the moment). Yellow is our go-to for any special occasion. It’s pricey; but worth every cent to the experience.

We came here on a Thursday evening and it was very quiet. We actually thought to go to one of the restaurants around the corner but stuck to Yellow and have no regrets. The service was impeccable and food was really good (this coming from a carnivore).

We tried this place for brunch. I suspect it is more a lunch or dinner place as the menu was limited. The waitress (tall blonde) was rude and made us feel uncomfortable for asking what some ingredients were listed on the menu. We did not know what they were and she made us feel like we stupid. Her attitude throughout the service was unfriendly and not very welcoming.

About Yellow Sydney

A few years ago, this Potts Point eatery made the decision to become all about the vegetables. But don’t be thinking ‘boring’. Here, thoughtfully selected produce is given a chance to shine.
