Excellent
The restaurant was very noisy because of the open seating and high ceilings, it reminded me of an airport food hall. The kangaroo main was overpowered by the cheese, and it was disappointing that extra bread incurred an additional charge.
3 course meal for $80 was great, however, kids fish & chips for $30 needs a bit more effort than frozen fish. We arrived at 2:15 for our late lunch booking and had to wait a bit for our table. Then once seated, we felt forgotten because the place was still so busy at this time. We struggled to get anyone’s attention first for our menu, then to take our order. Maybe it was just an off day for the staff/management. We’ll be back, only because the place was beautiful and food was great.
Good ambience and food was of high quality and delicious. Although the time taken for the main to be served after the entree was a bit longer than expected. But other than that we enjoyed the experience.
Was challenging to pick a restaurant for our 6 year anniversary, considering how many reputable restaurants are in this area. We were not disappointed! We got the scallop and kingfish for our entree (both were good but scallops better) and then salmon and wagyu eye fillet for mains. Salmon was not bad, nothing special but the eye fillet is definitely in our top 3 for steaks that we've had.
Once we walked in, wait staff had a look at us and continued their chat, great service. The restaurant manager isn’t very customer centric, more of a bossy guy to both staff and customers. He walked over to us and the first phrase is “please check in”, repeatedly. Even after I was checking in and I’ve informed him, I planned to check in for everyone. The food were mostly on the salty side (steak and risotto), but overall alright. We had the wagyu steak and entrees were kingfish, scallops and risotto. Bought a bottle of wine to share with the family, but wait staff don’t top up wine or water, had to keep asking, even though the restaurant was half empty, reminds me of cheap Chinese restaurant service, and they also don’t clear previous meal’s cutlery. The furnishings and a lack of table cloth made the ambience lacklustre for the price you pay as well. Probably would be a long while before I come back to this place or recommend to my mates.
The food is here is so good! Quality over quantity. Must try the eye fillet! Delicious. Good views over the estate. Quick service and friendly staff!
We love Yering Station. This is the only restaurant my parents want to go when I take them out for lunch. The service is always wonderful and the food is superb. We love the spacious dining room, it is always peaceful even when full and the view over the Yarra Valley is beautiful. Thank you for always making our experience extra special.
2 pm sitting, calm plenty of space to be COVID safe. 3 courses, scallops and king fish , followed by Salmon and filet steak, great sides and 2 yummy deserts.
The staffs were very friendly and helpful with our little one. Food was amazing and portion size is generous. Lovely atmosphere and view. Can't wait to visit again soon !!
Wonderful food and awesome wine list - especially in the Museum collection of wines - this part is highly recommended. Congrats to the restaurant dealing in a tough environment of COVID-19 but all the distancing is done very nicely.
We have been to this restaurant many times over the past five years. The prices have increased significantly, but this has not been matched by an increase in the standards or quality of the meals. For example, today my starter was meant to be warm, but arrived cold. Not good enough, very disappointing.
Wow, we loved every aspect of the experience. The staff were all the best! The venue is amazing and the food was worth every cent. Menu options were clear with a great range. Don't change anything. Thanks for a lovely dining experience.
Been coming here since the 1990's, has always been excellent. Today the food was woeful, sent the main course back as did 2 others I was dining with. To their credit they didn't charge us, but the overall experience was disappointing to say the least.
What an amazing place. Great food, amazing wines and awesome scenery. Catered for our friend with gluten free requirements. Could do with a bit more choice on the menu but otherwise highly recommended.
We celebrated our wedding anniversary at yering station because it was the venue of our wedding 4 years ago. It is still top notch - the food, wine and atmosphere.

Service at table let things down. Had to ask 3 times for our wine to be served from the bottle we had purchased which was kept in a ice bucket half way across the restaurant
Wasn’t bad but wouldn’t go back, other nicer places to go to
Amazing dining experience and great service - the Reserve Pinot is extraordinary
Amazing views. Staff tried hard but were clearly understaffed. Lunch was beautiful but meal was cold...it wasn't meant to be. Lovely spot. Would try it again.
