8.5/10Planned to go out with a group and when I was looking for a restaurant, 1 of them was very enthousiastic about the name and the kitchen, because she knew someone by that name and had Ethiopian food before. I'm glad she did, otherwise we probably would not have found this gem. Food was great, service excellent and the whole evening was a success :)

10/10Fantastic experience. We had the samoussas to start with. For the mains, we had a bit of everything. Loved it all. My favourite was the lamb tibs but the vegetarian and chicken dishes were also favourites amongst the other guests. We had 4 mains (sharing amongst 6 adults) and found the serves big enough. We ordered 2 more half way through just because we wanted more lamb and chicken. We were the first ones there (7 pm) and got served very fast - the place does get busy very quickly though and they had to turn people away as they were short-staffed. In other words, get in early! The Ethiopian music created the perfect vibe and several of my guests were delighted to discover 3 Ethiopian beers. We found the prices reasonable (even without the discount) and will definitely be back!

Yeshi Ethiopian Restaurant was founded by sisters and a nephew who grew up helping in the family restaurant. We brought with us our food passion and experience to Australia to share it with you. We want your experience at our restaurant to be nothing short of superb.
