9.5/10As always exceptional friendly, efficient service and delicious food with generous servings. Seniors meals are are extremely generous! Great value for money!! We are regulars to the York and will continue being regulars! Love our local pub!

8.5/10We thought we would try the York again after our last experience there was not goo. Today the food service was really quick. Staff we very good..meal iwas much improved since our last visit. Happy to go again.

9.5/10Just love coming here! Food is always top quality and service quick and friendly! Being seniors, we love sitting at the top end away from the main, busy dining area where it's a smaller and quieter area. Love the seniors meals they have to offer......a good selection, generous portions and very reasonable prices! We'll always keep coming back!

10/10They have menus back and old favourites are back chicken Oscar internet is very bad there so you app menu doesn’t work so very happy to have paper menus back service was great. Very friendly staff who were helpful

7.5/10Good food for a family style pub. Good variety and good selection of seniors choices. No menus on the table - QR code on table but the wifi was so poor it wouldn't load. No wine list available at the bar either.

9.5/10My husband and I returned to the York after many years when at the time, food was just average and service was ordinary. Upon our return tonight we were overwhelmingly surprised! Food was absolutely fantastic! Very generous servings, especially for Seniors meals. Staff were very friendly and and provided exceptional service with warm smiles on their faces. We will definitely become regular diners again!

8.5/10The best menu option Chicken Oscar has been removed. Please put it back. And no paper menus anymore we were told so if you can’t get phone service there is no access to menu, we did find a kind server who found some for us. A hint to have a menu up on boards or TV screens if you don’t want to use paper menus. Some customers don’t have smart enough phones.

8/10Friendly staff, affordable and value for money food. Menu a little limited compared with app and online but has a different range to most bistro’s which is good. Was a bit noisy. Went on a Sunday night for dinner. Will be back and try out a Sunday lunch time.
