they want us to pre-order due to other events held that day at their restaurant, which shouldn't be diner's concern...

Great, Great, Great - what else can you say about the view, the food and the service! And some great Sake to top it off! Always friendly service!

Great night Shu thanks

Rice in sushi was cold and hard (90% of good sushi is in the vinegared rice and temperature) , tofu in miso soup too salty, entree a little bland (tempura was OK), the paper hotpot was more gimmicky(science) than tasty. Not really Japanese cuisine. The cod was nice but not as good as the miso fish in Sokyo. Staff were friendly and view would've been great. But this is honest feedback for the good, presentation was nice but taste did not match unfortunately.

Went for the lunch special. Food was quite ordinary nothing to rave about. The location and view is the best part of the meal.

About Yuki's at the Quay

Japanese with an iconic Australian scene. High up on the fourth floor of the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Sydney’s Circular Quay is Yukis fine dining Japanese restaurant. If you’ve forgotten how beautiful Sydney Harbour is then Yukis is the perfect place to go and remind yourself - the view is simply spectacular! The food also turns heads. Head Chef Norihiro Nakatani has created a menu which utilises classic and modern Japanese cooking techniques and many dishes embrace the restaurants close proximity to the ocean. Dine on delicate sushi and sashimi for entree before diving into a tasty wagyu beef tataki or deep fried soft shell crab. For a sweet finish try the assorted dessert plate for a little taste of everything. You’ll want to savor every bite - partly because it tastes so good, and partly because you won’t want to leave that view. Best Dish: premium wagyu beef paper hot pot
