This was a really disappointing experience...the food is ok but a very dumbed down version of Malaysian..not spicy or much flavour, no sambals either. Roti burnt and the one waiter we kept having to call over for service

Generous servings of tasty food! We had prawn and chive dumplings (very popular), vegetable laksa (great), lemon ginger fish (the ginger could have been a bit more prominent for some people's taste), honey vinegar ribs and chilli prawns - so a great variety of different flavours. We will definitely be back!

We arrived at 530pm as going to a show at Enmore for 7pm, so plenty of time to order and eat.. Only 1 table of 2 was swated. Handed menus and tap water. Waited about 10 mins to get our order in. Afterwards, another to tables were seated. Waited for our beverages to arrive. 6pm came still no meals the other 3 tables had their meals served by this time. I asked the waiter what was happening, and he wasn't to friendly or service focus replying he would do check. 10 more mins, our drinks were served, then 1 main. I ordered Hainan Chicken, and no rice or soup was served with the meal, just chicken a real let down. The other main arrived. Singapore noodle, very bland. Then dumplings and spring rolls. Probably the highlight of the meal. Not an enjoyable experience for $75.00. Will not be back.

Food was excellent. Singapore chilli prawns and garlic kangkung so yummy. Was a bit quiet for Newtown on a Thursday, Hope more people try this place out so it doesn't close. A good change from the vegan, Thai or Turkish restaurants that are filling up King St

Had lunch. It was quiet afternoon. Overall, great food and service. However, the grilled Ling fish was a bit over cooked. Flavour was great.

Seems like a good deal, however the food quality was extremely disappointing. Satay was just stirfried meat and veg. Spring rolls were from frozen. Dessert was supermarket brand chocolate sponge.

Tried the vegan fish and vegetables dish and I absolutely loved it. Have also had the veggie laksa and chicken laksa. Chee Cheong Fan is also delicious. Never disappointed. Top quality food x

Great find. Variety of Malaysian food options. The dishes we ordered were delicious and flavourful but not too salty. Spacious and not too crowded for a Saturday night.

I found this restaurant by using the filters on "TheFork". The find was great. The food was exceptional, the prices were magnificent. the quantities served were on the generous side. But most of all the food was really yummy! The service was good, water was being replenished at all times, and a glass of water was also added to every wine glass. The only issue we found was that we never got the fried rice and boiled rice orders, however, that was a blessing in disguise, as we were so full, we would not have been able to eat it all the same. The atmospjhere was quite. As there were only another table of with about 4 people lunching, and us 6. We are not a shy group, so we did not let that to stop us. All and all a really great find. I recommend it for lunch (we have not tried this place for dinner). Since its location is in one of the main strips of Newtown, we suggest to walk lunch off in search of ice-cream and/or coffee..... we did! Perfect Sunday Lunch!

Loved this restaurant. Had the set Vegan menu and it was delicious. Our friends had on of the other set menus and they enjoyed it. Great value for money. Service was prompt. Would go back again.

The soft shell crab on crackers were good. We liked the curry chee cheong fan as well. The char koay teow was average. The kangkung was quite woody, which made us regret having ordered the dish. The curry chicken nasi lemak was ok.

I have been to Zinnia De Chinta many times for dinner & lunch (they do a great lunch special) & they never disappoint. The food is tasty & very reasonably priced & staff are always friendly & accommodating to our requests. Will continue to come back here again & again.

Requested for a high chair. Staff provided a filthy ones and did not even bother to wipe it clean. Had to use two pieces of antibacterial wipes to clean it. That’s how filthy it was.
