Busy place on a winter's friday for lunch so it a good thing we booked ahead. Our wood fired pizza and gnochi were absolutely delicious and a fair price. The large shared tables were not ideal but we did enjoy a bit of a chat with the people on each side of us. The decor is simple yet modern. Lovely views over the winery - especially if you are lucky enough to get a table closer to big windows.

The grounds of Zonzo are immaculate and the views are second to none. We ordered the gnocchi which was small, over cooked and under seasoned. The pizza was okay. The wines were very limited. I would recommend this for the view, but am unsure as to whether the good was up to standard.

Take a drive down to the Yarra Valley and enter the gorgeous property, Zonzo Estate, an elegant Italian restaurant with incredible views of the lush landscape. The restaurant has a sparse interior, well lit by the wall to wall windows that face the vineyards. It's also got a family vibe inside, where the staff are attentive and caring. WE loved their gourmet pizzas that come with, wait for it, your choice extra cheeses! Don't know about you but we certainly can't get enough buffalo mozzarella. We simply loved the potato pizza and the extra oily Wagyu bresaola pizza, a dripping delicacy of finest Aussie cattle. There's a handful of other mains, keeping the menu simple and refined. But there's also another menu, the Italian feast menu, for punters who want to take on more than they can chew. Think you can handle it? The Belgian chocolate mousse is to die for. So be careful ordering that one. Rest assured, Zonzo's do it service, ambience and all the rest as well as they do their desserts.
