Older cafe in Belgrave but the service and food was lovely
Belgrave is the home to the famous Puffing Billy steam train. It’s located in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, 36 kilometres from the city centre. Trees Adventure High Ropes Park is a high ropes course in the area, popular with locals and plenty of visitors. Belgrave is situated in the Dandenong Ranges and surrounded by stunning National Park. Main Street, which winds through the town's main commercial centre, is home to a variety of eateries, gift shops and the historic Cameo Cinema.
Once a sleepy backwater, Belgrave is now hipster-friendly, and the area has developed a great sense of community and vibrancy. Local Puffing Billy Cafe is a casual, warm and welcoming eatery serving up breakfast, toasties, burgers and coffee. Colourful and fun Babaji’s Kitchen specialises in relaxed Southern Indian dining. Benson’s Belgrave has you sorted all day long. Stop by for breakfast, or enjoy a great salad, pasta, risotto or steak for lunch. Join friends in the early evening for tapas, before a more extensive dining menu sets in for the evening.
