The Best Restaurants in Point Cook, Melbourne (VIC)

Point Cook is a decent drive from Melbourne, 22km south west of the CBD. The neighbourhood is best reached by car, although traffic can be heavy. It’s a growing family area with a great marine sanctuary and coastal park for a weekend visit where the kids can let off some steam.

Restaurants are mainly found in the town centre, where family restaurants and budget offerings abound for relaxed mid-week or weekend dining. Master Shifu serves up authentic, well presented Japanese food, while The Brook has reliable food and cheap children’s meals. Try the Waterstone Cafe on Sanctuary Lake, which serves up hearty breakfasts and pub meals. Take a seat on the lakeside deck and if you’re lucky, you’ll get to hear some live music on the day you visit.
