The Best Restaurants in Werribee, Melbourne (VIC)

Werribee is an outer south west suburb of Melbourne, 32km from the CBD, but there are plenty of reasons to take a weekend day trip there. It’s home to the historic Werribee Mansion and the Victoria State Rose Garden. For the kids, there’s Werribee Open Range Zoo and Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre. If you’re without kids in tow, try Joseph’s at the Lancemore Werribee Mansion for fine dining. Executive Chef, David Green, who was brought in to revamp the menu and dining room dishes up a fabulous degustation.

In Werribee itself, Watton Street is the dining strip, with cafes and a Vietnamese restaurant. Truck Stop Deluxe is reminiscent of something you’d find on your way from Texas to Mexico. Think burgers oozing with melted cheese and American style waffles with fried chicken, mac and cheese with fries on the side.
