Great views looking over Sydney harbour
Mosman is a family-friendly suburb on the northern shore of Sydney Harbour, which is also popular with young professionals. With a mix of large family homes and low-rise apartment buildings, it’s a leafy suburb with a calm, peaceful atmosphere. Dining options vary greatly from casual dining along the main street of Military Road, to waterfront dining with million-dollar views at Chowder Bay and Balmoral Beach. Mosman is easy to get to by car, although on-street parking can be a challenge. Ferry services for commuters (and to get to the world-renowned Taronga Zoo) and regular buses along Military Road also make Mosman easy to access.
The main street through Mosman, Military Road, has a village-feel, with plenty of cafes and casual dining options. Whether you’re looking for French, Indian, Italian, Greek or any number of Asian options, Mosman offers plenty for hungry diners all throughout the day and evening.
